Artist's Studio and Residence

An abandoned barn on the property of her daughter in Vermont was an ideal solution for a well-known New York artist to create a summer retreat. The barn allowed for an almost exact replica of her existing studio; the new house constructed adjacent to the barn was designed to comfortably accommodate a life with many visitors — a very large and open country kitchen and living area, private bedroom suite on the main floor for the owner and private bedroom areas for her guests upstairs.
